If you've been following the saga that's my life, you'll know that we've been saving for a barn roof and Santa and my accountant would say that I've been a pretty good girl. I've been a fairly frugal stamper but I have to too you, I fell off the Frugal Wagon last week and ordered myself the Friends 24-7 set and a few other things. But really, I've been so good! Oh wait, let's not mention the inital Big Shot Purchase…or the bedroom repainting episode….or the new organizational systems.
Seriously, I'm hoping to convince my fellow demo that we NEED to do the Friends 24-7 as our next months Stamps By Mail so I had to start working with it. Here's my first creation. I've seriously fallen in love with it. What do you think? This was one of the samples from my Techniques, Tools and Folds Class on Monday, Feb 23rd. (We were working with the Tools this month – Oval Punches). I pulled out my Versamarker that has been languishing in the bottom of my drawer along with my Iridescent Ice EP. Again, I'm sold. I love the look of the shiney sparkle. To use the Versamarker, you simply color where you will be putting the EP (flowers) and then add your EP and heat. Think gold edging on a card. Sparkly shiny ballons, signing your name in gold EP etc. Very versatile Versamarker!
Now, if you haven't had a chance to come to a class here in the haven that I call my Stamp Room, you are missing out on a lovely time. Do come! My next TTF class is actually in April (we are on the Stampin' Up Hawaiian trip in March so we had to skip) My TTF rubberstamping classes are held the fourth Monday of the month here in my studio in Waukesha. We have a morning session and an afternoon session and you have the option of 5 cards or doubles (10 cards). Email me to reserve your spot at the next class. I guarantee you will have fun.
