My maiden name is Ramaker and my brother and I were often nicknamed, "Rainmaker", andI'm starting to worry it may be true. Afterall, I'm fairly close to batting a 1000. It's seems that if I have an event scheduled, (class, workshop, etc) there is a very, very good chance that it will either rain or snow.
Case in point, this is what the view from my Stampin' Studio looked like last week. Yup, I had a Techniques, Tools, and Fun Folds class scheduled. Snow storm on Monday? I had a rubberstamping class at Waukesha's Homestead Condos. In fact, I have a regular attendee at my classes whos' adult children will ask when it rains or snows, if she's got class today. My reputation precedes me. Hostesses, do you remember last years Hostess Appreciation Event? We were clearing out from the weekend snow storm and the year prior? We slogged through 8-10 inches of the heavy wet stuff. I vowed then and there, that this next Hostess Appreciation Event will be in the warmer months. So, Hostesses this past year, mark your calendars for Thursday, April 2nd. This is THE event of the year where we have contests, food, (remember the chocolate fountain?), make and takes, really cool prizes and the likes. (Click here to see one of the make and takes from last year)
To attend, all you need to do is have hosted a workshop this past year or book your 2009 event and you and a friend are invited. Sale-abration is coming up and the items are ADORABLE, so book your workshop today to get the best dates and at the same time secure your invite to THE Hostess Appreciation Event. Just make a mental note to bring your umbrellas.
