As one of my favorite characters from Madagascar says…"Let’s get crack-a-lacken! I can truely say I’ve crack-a-lacked! Can you believe I’ve checked off several things on my to-do list. I’ll show you the cards tomorrow for my upcoming class on May 6th (subliminal message…sign up now!). I’ve updated my Stampin’ Up Website with all the upcoming classes. But I’ve just GOT to show you my Christmas Cards. I’m done with them……yeah, I know it’s May. Well, I won’t make you feel bad because they are cards for 2007! Technically they weren’t really going to be Christmas Cards as I was going to send "Happy Hibernation" cards with the front message that read.."settling down for a long Winter’s Nap". Well, I must have slept right through Jan- March. Percoset can do that to you! Photos where taken by Melanie Sikma of Waukesha. She did a phenomenal job.
Well, here’s my card. It reads "TIRED OF WINTER" and the inside says, "Happy Spring". I think it works, may not have been as cute as Happy Hibernation but it’s probably the only Christmas card most of my friends are getting in May.
- Stamps: Seeing Spots
- Inks: Certainly Celery, So Saffron, Almost Amethyst
- CS: Certainly Celery, So Saffron, Almost Amethyst, Basic Black
- Misc: Soft Subtles Brads, Black Gingham Ribbon
Did it cross your mind that perhaps the only reason that I was able to check that off my list is that I’ve only got 10 friends that I’m sending cards too? You’d be right, I’ve only got 10 friends! And a whole slew of relatives. Here they are in all they’re beauty. On a side note: If you are a friend and you didn’t get one….your name probably started with an M or something further down the alphabetically list. I truely ran out of pictures and since it’s almost time for another photo as Miss Ella is now wearing pigtails, you’ll just wait until next May.
All for now, must continue on down today’s list. I’m telling you. Watch for the cards for May 6th. They are some of my most favorite ones! Sign up today!
