Did ya all miss me? Did you even notice I was gone?!? I’m back from convention and have managed to bring laundry’s equivalent to Mt Everest down to about Mt Ranier! Yikes, big scaries there in that basement. Did you know that baby bibs will mildew if left in a pile? Yes, I know, you would have had all the laundry caught up before you left but I was so consumed with swap cards that I figured, what would it hurt! Well, I should have known that my lovely husband (and I do love him dearly) probably wouldn’t think to put in a load every now and then while I (and the kids) where gone. But yes, fishing, Brewers games and the likes called his name, like the siren’s song. So, if ya need any salmon, you know where to pop in for dinner!
I want you all to know and pop a Starbuck’s Mocha Frappe with me cuz I’ve officially finished a project! You all know that I’m the self proclaim "Queen Of Unfinished". Well, for this past week’s blog challenge I finished something! Yahoo! We were to take something type of 3D object and recover, spice up, change etc. Well, here’s my before and after shots.
These where wooden letters that I got at Target last summer in the scrapbooking aisle. Why you ask, are they mirrored? Well, I was so excited to show you the finished item that I accidently deleted the true "before" shot! One thing with digital is that when it’s gone, it’s gone! These sit above my three windows and the "T" has been covered for about a year! Now, they are done, but yet…… not. I did decide that the "S" might need a little work. So see, even when I finish, I’m not. Step away from the letters! Any suggestions?
So that’s it. Just a bit of ribbons and background paper and you got a customized title. Go forth and embellish your loved one’s offices, room and all. I don’t beleive the letters were real expensive. Don’t forget to check out the other bloggers samples and I hope to get back on here later today to post some class samples and type a newsletter. Lofty aspirations, I know but the theme of convention was "Dream Big" so I will!
Very nice Sarah!
I think they are great — I am with you — I have 100 things that I mean to do that just sit in drawers. Done is done — leave them as they are — I like the S!
great job! I have some of those letters as well (unfinished of course). love the different papers you used!!
I love your finished STAMP letters! I have some that unfinished ones that spell out DREAM…I’ve had for a couple years. Think I’ll go back and get BIG…then get them done for my room!
