I’ve got exactly 7 minutes before Rob needs to head out the door for work this morning and is free to entertain the wee one. We’ve got teething, allergies and our first cold over here so life’s been…shall we say less than serene. 🙂 Poor kid doesn’t have many pictures as many of you will attest to the third child syndrome. But there’s no way I’m going to scrapbook that "first". What kind of stamps or stickers would you use to document that? I suppose strands of rubber cement might look life-like!
Anyhoo, I’m going to throw up my Friday’s Blog challenge for the week. Run back in and do the baby swap thing and HOPEFULLY get back out here and post some projects I’ve been working on here this last week. As well as throw out the little teaser for our retired rummage event…should that be called Rubber Retreads? Some non-supportive spouses might call that kind of an event…..Rubbage (combining Rubber and Rummage) but I don’t think we asked for comments from the peanut gallery!
The challenge this week was to use the sketch from the Sassy Stems set on page 97. SU used Mellow Moss and So Saffron. I used this card as one of my Make and Takes for my Catalog Kick-off and because of the number of people needing to work thru all four stations, I needed to simplify, simplify, simplify!
Make sure you check out the other challenge partner’s blogs for more on this sketch. It’s easy to recreate and quite lovely! Here are the supplies that I used. Email me if you wish to purchase any of them.
- Stamps: It’s Your Birthday, Everyday Flexible Phrases, Paisley Background, & Oh So Lovely Hostess Only Set
- Inks: So Saffron, Basic Black
- CS: So Saffron, River Rock, Whisper White
- Misc: Dimensionals, Horizontal Slot, Key Tag Punch, Cutter Kit, Very Vanilla Grosgrain, Watercolor Crayons!
Enjoy! Off to rescue daddy and babe…..
