I was told yesterday, "enough, already! Get over your bad day and move on." I was a bit confused as to what this was refering to, when I remembered the last post on my blog! So for all 6 of you loyal readers, I’m sorry. Life has, truely, not been rotten, it was only one day that was a bit cloudier than the rest. Sorry to keep you wondering and worrying as I’m sure all of you were. (yeah, right!) 🙂 But, I’m sure you are wondering why I haven’t posted in 3 weeks, though right? If not, just look at the stamping art and log off! If you are just a bit curious, you’ll have to read and find out!
Well, Sell-a-bration finished up at the end of February so I was working frantically to get some of those shows closed up and ordered. It wasn’t as panicky as some years, tho. I’m not going to chalk that up to increased organization as you all know me better than that. I did cut back a bit this year for maternity leave. Speaking of maternity leave, I started back part-time at the hospital and I remember why I’m a full-time SU demo! I just haven’t worked up the courage to quit there yet, as the benefits are nice. I’m not sure I should burn 4 years of college and dad’s money that way either. Ah well, I’ll just be thankful I’ve got not just one, but two jobs. 🙂
Adria had her 10th Birthday party on Saturday and we hosted a stamp camp for 12 girls. I’m not sure there is enough medication available to get thru something like that. Whew, it was exhausting. I did have rave reviews from the girls. My stamping studio is still in the aftermath of the event. I must clean it up before tomorrow’s workshop here.
So, as for stamping….I had a great stamp camp at the park and rec on Monday and I will be posting some of the projects. It was Fun Folds and I’ll have to say…you’d be bummed if you missed it! Here’s a few other things I’ve been working on using the new sets from the Spring Mini. Lovin that paper!
Stamps: That’s Nice, Polka Dots and Petals
Inks: Cool Caribbean, Tempting Turquoise
CS: Certainly Celery, Old Olive, Cool Caribbean, Petals and Paisley Paper
Misc: Gold Brad, 3/4", 1 1/4", 1 3/8" Circle Punches, Word Window Punch.
This is a card we’ll be doing at my Girl’s Night Out Camps in March.
