Yes, I’ve often been called the Stamping Queen by the derisive masses and just plain ol’ "Queen" by a dear husband when he’s not so subtly trying to make a point…but I’ve found that I shall be called the Empress!  As in the Emperor’s/Empress’s New Groove.  And I’m not looking for a new groove, I want the old groove back!  Help me find it!

I feel a smidge hypocritical as I’ve often told my customer’s that stamping and scrapping is just like riding a bike.  You can get right back on and go!  No relearning, just go!  Well, my bike might have a flat tire.  🙂

I had my scrapbooking club over Saturday evening.  We meet here once a month and I usually have a chance to scrap along with the girls and can crank out a good number of cards and pages….well, alas my groove wasn’t so….groovy.  Here’s the only thing that I got accomplished.  I fussed and fussed over these silly pages.  Finally I just had to tell myself, "Sarah, Step away from the page!"

  • Stamps:  Office Accoutrements, Newsprint Alphabet
  • CS:  Certainly Celery, Night of Navy, Background Paper from LSS
  • Inks:  Certainly Celery, Night of Navy
  • Misc:  Hodgepodge Hardware, Spiral Punch, Round Tab Punch, Piecing Tool

I used the Calendar stamp and a celery marker to indicate the date of the photos.  It felt like I was taking a test with a #2 pencil and needed to completely shade in the correct answer.  🙂  So that’s all.  I’m thinking if I scrap at this rate, I might be able to give Ella her baby book at her highschool graduation.  I’m needing to find that groove again!  🙂  Help me find it!
