Maybe I’ll move to Australia. I really hate Mondays and I think they aren’t too fond of me either.
I had a workshop last night for one of my favorite hostesses. She’s a great stamper and one of the nicest women I know. We had a Girl’s Night Out booked. That’s where her guests pay a small fee to make some really cool projects and cards. It’s kind of like a "private/exclusive" stamp camp just for you and your friends. But anyhoo…I had one of those kind of evenings…a horrible, no-good very bad day. I went into the workshop feeling pretty smug because all my ducks where in a row. My stamp room wasn’t trashed cuz I was running late, I had time to drop off food to some friends, and all the noses where wiped and diapers changed and I was in CONTROL and feeling sassy!
It started with me forgetting to bring two stamps that I borrowed to another friend, so we needed to find something that would work in place of the stamps. It was a Horrible, No-Good, Very Bad Day, I think I’ll move to Australia.
Then, some time during the afternoon, I must have set the cardstock for the 2nd card down and never packed it, so I needed to borrow cardstock from my hostess and change the color from Celery to Moss. A Horrible, No-Good, Very Bad Day. I think I’ll move to Australia. Then lastly, I forgot to pack the Winter Mini catalogs, I was so excited about the Spring Mini that I forgot to throw a few Winters in the bag. Do you wonder how I can even be slightly successful at this business? I think that my customers see how utterly dizzy I am and figure they could at least be better demonstrators than I! I hate it when I have Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Days….
It’s a new day, the sun is shining and the baby is sleeping. It’s much nicer today. I’m so thankful my hostess was so gracious and accomodating last night. She’s really so sweet and her guests didn’t even scoff and scorn and I’m not even sure they noticed the increasing rings around the underarms. I’ve heard they even have Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Days in Australia.
But here’s two of the reasons I’m so excited by the new Spring Mini Catalog. These are two of the samples from my Diva Day for my Downline. The Chocolate Card was inspired by Debbie Olson’s Thinking Inking Blog and the other from the cover of the latest Papercraft magazines which I can’t locate at the moment. See what happens when you organize? You can never find anything!
