One of the things that I always tell my customers is that every card doesn’t need to be unique. It’s perfectly ok to pick a card from a website, publication or Stampin’ Up catalog and change a few elements to make the card your own. This was a card that I did at my Christmas card camp. I used the Jolly Holiday Santa to make a window card. I then had left over cardstock already cut from the camp so I changed it to be Frosty as Christmas had come and gone. I liked the design and so I changed the Frosty to the frog from the Very Punny Sell-a-bration set and changed the colors to be more "toad-like". Completely different cards with very little thinking.
I often hear myself and others say one of the hardest things about stamping is coming up with an original design. Original is awesome but sometimes we need to stamp for volume and don’t be ashamed to use elements from other designs in your own cards. Make it easy on yourself.
