Img_0100_1Here’s a final holiday scan before I switch my gears to Sell-a-bration and Valentines Day.  These are the cards that I made for Denver’s teacher.  I haven’t used Frosty in a long time so I dug him out and worked with him.  The box was a variation of a purse tote that I had done in an earlier class and I needed more depth to accomodate the extra cards.   I usually give each teacher 20 cards, envelopes and postage as a gift both at Christmas and at the end of the year.

  • Stamps:  Frosty, Whirly Twirly Wheel, It’s Snow Time.
  • Inks:  Ballet Blue, Basic Black, Real Red and Going Gray Markers, Ballet Blue Ink Cartridge
  • CS:  Background from All the Trimmings, Brocade Blue, Real Red
  • Misc:  Red Gingham, White Narrow Organdy, Dimensionals

The box is a single sheet of Brocade Blue CS wheeled with Ballet Blue ink.  I scored at 4" on the landscape side and 1 7/8" on the portrait.  I then just used Sticky Strip to adhere the cardstock to make an open box.  I used a scrap of stripped paper leftover from the All The Trimmings class and stamped Frosty and cut him out.  The cards are just a version of the box.
