This is becoming one of my favorite techniques as well as stampsets. I demo’d this card at the Vernon Park and Rec Class that I taught on Fun Folds and I’ve found lots of other uses for this technique.
Supplies:
Stamps: Stinkin’ Cute, It’s Your Birthday
Inks: Regal Rose, Basic Black
CS: Regal Rose – 1/2 Sheet cut vertically , Sarah Background Paper, Black and White
Misc: Word Window Punch, Circle Punch, Soft Subtles Brads
1. Stamp "It’s you Birthday" on larger white CS and "Big Stinkin Deal" on smaller White. Layer on black CS. Stamp Skunk on front piece and layer on black and background paper
. Fold Rose CS in half and punch to create a finger pull
2. With fold on the bottom, make a slit about 1/3 of the way down the front of the cs.
3. Add Word Window tab with a brad to the inner part of the card to create a pull. Adhere skunk to the front, making sure not to tape the top of the skunk piece as it needs to allow the inside part to pull out.
Adhere only the outermost sides on the base card as the entire inner part needs to slide.
4. Close, enjoy and send to your favorite person!
